More Curriculum Continued...

Our younger students work within Gecko Kids-created templates. These are black and white pictures that they import into the art program each week. They fill them in using paint buckets and then they a simple word and their own object: a cloud, a sun, a teddy bear, a tree, a butterfly, etc. See examples.

Our younger students are taught many preschool skills, such as letter rocognition, early reading, shape recognition and color recognition. In addition, they develop their fine motor skills as we build double-clicking and clicking & dragging into the picture's objectives. They also begin the learning process of typing.

Our older students type whole sentences to match their intricate pictures (that they create from scratch).
